Atlantis Trio

The Atlantis Trio and Ensemble was founded by Jaap Schroeder in order to combine the talents of European and American musicians interested in exploring the use of instruments and performing techniques of the 18th and early 19th century. The trio includes Jaap Schroeder (violin), Enid Sutherland (cello) and Penelope Crawford (fortepiano), while distinguished colleagues Peter Bucknell, Daniel Foster (viola), Etienne Abelin (violin) and Anne Trout (bass) have augmented the trio to include the larger ensemble repertoire for strings and fortepiano.
