Max van Egmond

The Dutch baritone, Max van Egmond, one of the most famous singers of our time is renowned for his singing of the baroque oratorio repertoire, especially the works of J. S. Bach. His singing of German Lieder is no less impressive. For Musica Omnia, Max van Egmond has recorded the two Schubert song cycles, Winterreise and Die schoene Muellerin, the final Schwanengesang collection and Schumann’s Dichterliebe. In addition he appears on several major Bach releases devoted to the Christmas Otatorio, Lutheran masses and several famous cantatas.
